Meet Your Hamilton Farmers:
Hello! I’m Glenda, a country raised gal who couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Surprisingly, gardening wasn’t part of my upbringing. But it quickly became my passion.
Jerry and I have been married for 45 years. Blessed with 2 boys and 2 girls. They’ve all grown and moved away. We very much miss our kids and grands but that’s life.
Sixteen years ago, we were able to purchase some land. I dreamed of creating perennial display gardens. As a new gardener I made plenty of mistakes. Planting the wrong things made more work than expected. But those mistakes turned into lessons. And the gardens became a place for others to learn too. Seeing plants at maturity gives visitors inspiration and ideas. Along with the gardens we planted thousands of raspberry canes. The farm began to take shape.
Why We Farm
What started as a hobby became a vision. A vision to restore and protect this little piece of land for future generations. We’ve worked hard to rebuild the soil. Create a balanced ecosystem. To bring back frogs, birds, snakes and pollinators.
That vision continues to grow. The gardens have become a space for healing, learning, and building community. And we are excited to see how they evolve.
Feeding You
Our farm nourishers you in more ways than one.
- Fresh, local fruit – Our raspberries offer a delicious home grown taste.
- Physical, mental & social well being – The gardens and flowers provide beauty, peace, and a place to unwind.
- Health & wellness – Our bees provide honey and other beneficial products
direct from our hives.
But besides what we grow, we invite you to experience it. Come pick your own raspberries in July and U-Pick flowers from late July through to the first frost.
We love seeing everyone on the farm. Adults relaxing. Kids excited to pick raspberries. Discovering bugs and connecting with nature. Everyone learning where their food comes from.
The flowers add another kind of nourishment. Just as vital as food. A healthy body and healthy mind go hand in hand.
We’re thrilled to share our farm with you.
